How to prepare your abstract and poster

Book of Abstracts

The Book of Abstracts will be published electronically and will be distributed along with the Conference materials.

Abstract layout

Abstract Guidelines

The Abstracts should be prepared in a .docx or .doc format (MS Word).

Your Abstract should not exceed One A4 page with standard margin settings.

Preferred Font: Calibri, Default text size 11 pt.

If you intend to present a Graphical Abstract, please also send the visual materials as separate high quality files.

Title: ABSTRACT TITLE – Font size 12, Text Bold ALL CAPS Centered.

Authors: Name Family1*, Name Family2, Name Family1 – Font size 11, Text Normal.

Affiliation: 1Institution Address – Font size 11, Text Normal.

*Presenting author: email@server.com – Font size 11, Text Normal.

Abstract Body: Font size 11, Text Normal (Bold, Italics, Underline wherever is needed).

Keywords: Three to Six Kewords – Font size 11, Text Normal.

Acknowledgements: If needed – Font size 11, Text Normal.

References: If essential – Font size 11, Text Normal.

The authors are responsible for the content of the research presented.

The Scientific Committee will review the quality of the contributions and a Letter of Acceptance will be sent to the authors.

No editorial amendments will be done. When accepted your Abstract will be included as is into the Conference Book of Abstracts.

How to Submit your Abstract

You can download the Abstract Template and send it as Presenting-Author.docx file to our email: funbio@bio21.bas.bg

In the email Subject please indicate the type of your presentation: Oral Presentation, Poster or Poster with Flash Talk.

In the email Body please indicate which Topic of the Conference program you prefer.

Please submit your Abstract before 30 June 2025!

Oral and Poster presentations

Oral Presentation Guidelines

Presentation: Maximum 15 min + 5 min Discussion.

Poster Flash Talk Guidelines

Presentation: Maximum 5 min.

Presentations Format: MS PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF.

Poster Guidelines

Maximum Poster Size: A0 (841 x 1189 mm).
Poster Orientation: Portrait (vertical).

The Poster session and Poster set up time will be announced in the Conference Timetable.

You can find your Poster number in the Conference Book of Abstracts.

ZIP contains set of conference logos suitable for light or dark background.
